Objectives

Ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Servers work in the front of the business taking orders, serving food and drinks, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.

Functional Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge the guest with a warm and friendly smile.
• Anticipated the guest’s requirements and personalized service by using the Guest’s name.
• Taking down the guest order and repeat the order with the right modification.
• Making sure that the guest order is delivered on the table with the right modification by doing the standard 2 minutes check back
• Work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently…
• Follow 10 Point Station check, and ensure table is 100% clean making sure ready for the next guest to be seated.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the whole restaurant
• Uphold the highest standard of hygiene and work ethic to provide the finest quality of food and service to our guest.
• Proactively prepares checks and personalizing it to make the guest feel valued.
• Connecting with our guest by anticipating their needs while in the dining
• Doing the closing cleaning task up to Applebee’s Standard and Specification
• Serve guest with courtesy, patience and a smile.
• Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement

Skills

• Need to be able to work around difficult situations and must possess exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant employees and work as part of a team by helping others as needed or requested.
• Have the ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times and display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Highly skilled in greeting and interacting with guests in a professional manner
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules. Must be able to work on an “on call” basis approximately one week per month — nights, weekends and holidays.
